The one African country that would have had good chances of going far in the World Cup is Senegal because they are the champions of Africa but since their star man is no longer with them I don't know how far they can go
Africa countries played very good football for Qatar World Cup Qualifier matches.Senegal qualified for world cup but their big player has been out of World cup.Sadio mane injured for long time.I think, if he will be in squad then i think they will be win and chance to make good something.
