Chiesa was not underated in Juventus. He stepped up to a higher in his career after a successful journey with Italy in Euro 2020. However, unfortunately for him that he got a serious injury after that Euro. Therefore, he missed the past season and in this one, he has still been on bench. I believe Maximiliano Allegri does know that Chiesa is a good player for Juventus. He only wants to give Chiesa a little more time to fully recover by that the player can contribute better for Juventus in long run.
