In preparation for their Test series against England, Pakistan has announced their squad. Sarfaraz Ahmed is expected to return for Pakistan's three-match home Test series beginning on December 1. A big congrats to all the selected players, as it's an overall good selection. I think Shadab should be included in this squad, otherwise it is a great one. After just one bad series, it is unfair to drop Fawad. However, I doubt they will be able to compete with an English team of this quality.
Shadab is still a newborn in the test but at home, he could be a good asset but I am more surprised by the exclusion of Fawad Alam. Pakistani selectors and politics ruined his Test career.

This guy broke all the doors back in 2009 and they neglected him despite the fact that their batting lineup was embarrassing af throughout the last decade.
I am also surprised with this decision because surely he deserves a spot in this team but sadly due to age factor and inner politics in PCS prevented him from his spot into final test squad against England with this team look like England could be favourite and have fair chance to win this series because things are looking not good for them specially after losing against Australia in last series they have to bring players on merit instead of going with personal likes and dislikes which are never been ideal for any team Shaheen is out for long time and Haris Rauf is also not available so with this look like we are going to have spin wickets which will help batting lineup and spinners which is never been entertaining for fans.

In South Asian cricket, we have seen many players' careers destroyed due to politics. And here every board has bad politics. I can't find any reason not to keep Sadab Khan in the squad. As the series will be held in Pakistan. And Pakshithan's pitch is helpful for spinners. Pakistan management should have given Sadab Khan a chance in this series. On the other hand, I am not surprised to not keep Fawad Alam on the team. We know that Fawad Alam is a good player in the Test format. But don't forget he is 37 years old. Perhaps now the Pakistan management does not want to keep any older players in the squad. But if Fawad Alam gets a chance in this series, he might have been able to perform well. England is a strong team, against such a team, experienced players are definitely needed.
