ohhh messi and argentina . another disaster at a world cup . messi still said at the copa that they finally want to play properly this time.
and then comes the first game of the world cup and argentina loses 1-2 to egypt.
today is a very very black day for the south americans. i am now curious about the other two games.
if argentina fails again in the preliminary round ...... that would be a huge catastrophe for argentine football.

Argentina's record of 36 matches unbeaten ended in today's match. Maybe many fans still can't believe that Argentina was defeated by Saudi Arabia. Argentina's game today was really random, I don't know why they played like that. The next game is against Mexico, who are a very good team, Argentina will have to work hard to improve.

If Argentina play with such a performance, how they can win. Argentina have to pay for the mistake they made in the beginning. They couldn't score the 3 goals they gave. The off side seems to have stopped them today. This mistake of such big and good team players is not acceptable. If they had won today's match then maybe these questions would not have arisen but if they had lost they would certainly be criticized now. They are in this distant state because of making the same mistakes again and again. There are certainly concerns about what could happen to other good teams if this is the case with Saudi Arabia.

No one expected Argentina to lose its unbeaten streak against Saudi Arabia, however while it is true that if they played 100 times Argentina will probably win 90 to 95 of those matches we also need to give credit to Saudi Arabia, at least to me it seemed as if they were playing for the offside which is why Argentinian players committed 10 offsides in all the game, which is a very high number, it was a risky tactic but the team of Saudi Arabia was well coached, this should show that even teams which are clearly inferior in terms of the skill of their players can still compete as long as they are trained appropriately.
