Accepting Bitcoin as an alternative for goods and service would have been very nice considering that it would work electronically when buying goods and services. Anyone who has the implementation of Bitcoin wallets can accept or issue payment with bitcoin. Therefore, allowing many people to have bitcoin wallets is the only requirement for ensuring smooth transactions from the consumers side. They can be implemented in many payment methods, such as mobile payments and wireless payments.

It would be a very wonderful opportunity or experience to work into most business places and pay for any goods or services using bitcoin. It would make financial transaction private, fast and cheap. I have had so much issues using fiat that I wish bitcoin would become generally accepted in my locality. But I think we are very far from achieving this feat because downloading of wallets is the least challenge or barrier.
Government policy is a major setback because they have the potential of encouraging or discouraging the people from accepting an innovation. Most countries that are unfriendly with bitcoin, always embark on massive smear campaign to discourage its citizens from embracing bitcoin. They enact several draconian laws that sometime label bitcoiners as criminals because they want to discourage its adoption. Some other issues are illiteracy, poverty, lack of internet or power facilities.
