Argentina's record of 36 matches unbeaten ended in today's match. Maybe many fans still can't believe that Argentina was defeated by Saudi Arabia. Argentina's game today was really random, I don't know why they played like that. The next game is against Mexico, who are a very good team, Argentina will have to work hard to improve.
I also did not expect and was very surprised when I saw Argentina defeated by Saudi Arabia today. Even though in possession of the ball on the field, it was very clear that Argentina was far superior to Saudi Arabia, but Saudi Arabia managed to make a very good surprise in this match so that they got the win. This is really something I never expected before the game started.
I find it strange what happened on the pitch today, did Lionel Scaloni not coach his team well? Or has the stamina and ability of the Argentine players decreased? In my opinion, the average Argentine player is a world star player, but for some reason today's match I considered it so strange, even though it was only 2-1 I still feel that I have not accepted that Argentina was defeated by Saudi Arabia.
I feel that there is a big game behind today's Argentina match loss, do you guys feel the same way?
This is beyond my expectation.
@Dickiy this was a classic case of one team playing with over confidence while the other team played with nothing to lose, and thus full credits to Saudi Arabia cause they gave Argentina a timely warning that they can be defeated too.
Furthermore I wonder if someone just for fun had selected Saudi in their bet slip, because they would have gotten monstrous odds before the match began and now I wonder if this upset will cause many here to wager on the underdog team in the hope of earning a big amount when they end up causing an upset.
