2 antminer S1s each with their own 500w PSU, just in case one dies I only lose 1 miner and not both.

A good precaution but I just pictured that all going up in flames, haha.Actually that is rly smart, did not see anybody done that . What a smart man
would be really clever to wire it up to a relay for your power bars/outlets. Detector smells smoke, all your power to the miners is cut off to prevent fueling the fire (and further melting/burning wires). Of course a false alarm would cause a halt to mining until resolved
It's actually an IRIS smoke detector and the whole setup is on IRIS to turn off if the smoke alarm triggers....I get text messages and emails if it triggers
About the best I can do! IRIS is sold at Lowes, it's full home automation for about $300....Should get it.Here are some pictures to show how awesome iris is, tracks electrical usage, remote monitoring, control your home thermostat, it's like adt pulse but WAY cheaper!
You can set 'magic' so if smoke detector 1 goes off, you turn off controls 'Antminers' and 'Gridseeds'. Or if backdoor contact is opened, turn on downstairs light (besides sounding the alarm) and you receive texts and emails whenever something happens
