I'm curious about how determined Arsenal will be for the Europa League title. So far they have done a great job about balancing the English Premier League and Europa League. They have performed strongly in both of the tournaments. There will be a long break for the rest of the games to start now.
Unless they have to deal with serious injuries after the World Cup ends, I don't expect Arsenal to lose their concentration and start struggling in any of these tournaments. Besides they might add new players to their squad in January as well which would help them a lot in the rest of the season.
Arteta has said on several occasions that he is currently targeting two trophies this season, either the Premier League or the Europa League. so we don't need to question how determined they are. So far, they have been very impressive in both domestic competition and the Europa League.
I don't expect Arsenal's players who appear to defend their national team in this world cup, not to experience significant problems, let alone the worst case scenario is getting injured, and that will become a serious problem after the league resumes.
IMO, Arsenal are too dependent on some of their players, especially Martin Odegaard. and it is very visible, when Odegaard is absent, it is not uncommon for Arsenal to always have difficulty building attacks to create goal opportunities. however, fortunately Arteta has currently targeted several players to be signed in the upcoming January transfer window.
in particular, midfielders and some other players. and if Arsenal bring in newcomers in January, Arteta doesn't need to worry that his team will run out of ammunition in the middle of the competition.
