I quite appreciate their current performance, Arteta was able to change Arsenal's game with amazing results. But even so I'm not so sure Arsenal will be able to maintain its position at the top of the standings. Because they have to prove it when they meet Manchester City, if they are able to get past City's obstacles then their motivation will double and the chance to win the championship will be more open.
If Leicester City can win Premier League, Arsenal can win it too. However, it is a bit difference because in a season Leicester City won it, all big clubs had problems and it gave a good chance for Leicester City to take advantage of all giant problems then win the trophy.
In this season, at least Manchester City has been playing so impressively and they have not had serious problems. So if Arsenal want to win it, they will need to play much better than Leicester City did many seasons ago.
Arsenal's achievements this season are arguably very excellent. From 14 matches, they only lost 1x and drew 1x. It's not wrong if they become the top standing in the EPL. Their consistency this season is admirable.
Only taking into consideration what they have achieved so far, it is better than the past season. I hope they will continue this good form and end this season with a better position than in the last season.
Arteta is really awesome at managing all the players in the team to maximize their potential in every line and play solidly and consistently at all times. The results are not disappointing, really proud. This is a very good achievement, especially last season even Arsenal failed in the UCL. And this time, they really gave it their all. If they can maintain their performance like this, without losing points, I ma sure that Arsenal will still stand in the top 1 until the end and hold the EPL Trophy.
Choosing Arteta is a most important decision of Arsenal in the past one decade. This decision changed the club a lot and it can be a beginning of something big, another Arsene Wenger in Arsenal, why not?
It is too soon to say so but everything must have a start and so far, Arteta does have a good start for his coach career in Arsenal.
