You are right that they started with only a dice game but it was very entertaining and I spent hours and hours playing there especially with the generous wagering competition they had. But the sportsbook is not new. They added it a long time ago (not sure about the exact date). The announcement is about an update on the already existing sportsbook and it coincided with the world cup.
