This is what happened in India in 2018 happening now in Nigeria, but the India supreme court reversed the order in which the banks are still against it but unfavorable by the India supreme court which makes cryptocurrencies legal in India. I hope this will be the case for Nigeria too in the long run, the court will likely turned down the order, but I am thinking this may also be difficult until we have good leaders that do not just turn down something without no reason than filing criminal charges against it. The bank do not know the set back they already set for Nigeria today as they ban crypto. But, let us hope this ban will be invalid at the long run.
Nigerians even prefer cryptocurrencies to the Fiat currency. Upon all the blockage/ban, Nigerians Youth continuesly using cryptocurrency and the growth is rapidly. Nigerian Youth even dey shunned  di CBN implementation of di e-naira. As 4 me di e-naira na abandon project, it is a project that wasted the country's fund which would have used to reduce inflation in the country for poor residents to enjoy and praise them.
