Yes, we are all still guessing and just looking at the history that happened to Napoli in the last few seasons after the mid-season break, Napoli showing bad performance.
In the past season, the long injury of Osimhen causes a lot of issue to Napoli. That injury did not impact their performance a few weeks after that but in long run, they felt the impact and has worse performance. Because Napoli did not have another striker with similar style of Osimhen. Other players in their system can not cover the absence of Osimhen weeks by weeks.
However, this season Napoli can give a much different result. There is a possibility that Napoli will making more points gap from Milan and Juventus with consistent performance. Napoli may just need to focus on their every game. They also have to remember that there are Top 3 killers from the lower and middle-tier teams in Serie A they are Torino, Sassuolo and Udinese are the teams they have to watch out for besides the big 4 Serie-A.
I don't really expect that Napoli will be able to continue their current form and expand their gaps with other clubs like AC Milan, Juventus and other clubs at top of Serie A. Because so far Napoli have perfect performance so that it is unrealistic to think they can maintain it in a whole season. They will have worse performance some weeks that are chances for other clubs to reduce those big gaps.
