But I will agree with you on this point that Bangladesh was strong in previous times in Mirpur but now if you look at the current situation their poor performance is noticeable also in Mirpur stadium. And I think the big reason behind this is the failure of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, because they are also failed to find good players who were capable for fill the experienced player position just like Pakistan. And I would agree that India will be the favorite team in the series and the win probability will also go towards India.
Bangladesh could not find suitable replacements for their senior players. They could not produce talented players. Young players are failing to perform well. Bangladesh's performance is now completely erratic. And so now they are not able to perform well even at their home ground in Mirpur. I don't think Bangladesh can win any match in this series against an experienced team like India. I guess the Bangladesh team will lose every match of the series.
The problem is the weak pipeline for Bangladesh cricket.
Instead of senior players who have reached a certain age, these players are probably no longer able to perform at their top level. If they had been able to find capable players, they could have done much better.
Bangladesh has been searching and searching for those types of players. But they have not found them. Just let me give you an example. If you look at Shakib Al Hasan, you will be able to realize that there is no substitute for him in the whole world. So it is pointless to look for a substitute for him.
But the other senior players, like Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal, and Mahmudullah are not irreplaceable if you have the right players for it. Bangladesh failed to find a replacement for even one of them. And that is obviously a failure for a big cricket board like Bangladesh.
