Arsenal can still maintain to remain first in the league if they continue in the form the team was playing before the world cup break because five points ahead from Manchester City is a good gap but will they be able to keep on winning ? Transfer of players will also make some clubs to perform better. Manchester city will finish up at top four this season since they will not want to disappoint their fans this season.
Nobody is contesting Manchester city's spot on the top four position, it is the other three spots that is in contest. I am very worried for Arsenal, Injuries can pose a problem to us, Gabriel Jesus who has a good influence on the team has a slight knee injury concern, and may likely not play with us on our first game after the World cup, Partey who is injury prone as well has survived injuries in the world cup, hoping our other key players like Martinelli, Saka, Xhaka, Tomiyasu etc. will not pick up injuries.
This sounds funny to me. How can you say that only Manchester City is guaranteed the top 4 and every other clubs including Arsenal are not guaranteed. So you are taking 5 points of Arsenal for joke or what. For you to have 5 points means you have to win a match and draw two matches. We all know that the way English Premier league is going it is possible that Manchester City can lose their next match. As long as Arsenal is at the top with 5 points we should give them their respect
