They can play in their room without anyone knowing or outside the house freely without checking from the authorities. We probably won't see many women gambling, except maybe in Las Vegas or cities where gambling is allowed. Unfortunately, we cannot assess how many female gamblers out there are gambling online as it is one of the great things about it which is anonymity where no one will know who you are other than the gambling platform if they require KYC. Anyways, I'll disagree with your opinion that only a few women are gambling in physical casinos as I've only different casinos and I always see a lot of females around me. They may not be as many as the males but there are a lot of them out there gambling.
That's true because by gambling online, a woman can freely play gambling without being noticed by other people. Plus, with the plethora of crypto casino options, women don't have to tell who they are either. I think so because I rarely meet women who gamble in physical casinos or maybe because my hours of gambling are different from theirs. If there was a way to find out how many women are into gambling, trust me, you did be surprised at the number of women that are into gambling, even in cities where gambling is not legal.
One thing we all must know about women is that they know how to do things secretly than men and it is very possible to live with a women who gambles in a house for several years without finding out, and nowadays that online gambling have become very rampant, I would argue that women gamble more than men for several reasons, I will leave the reasons for another topic but it from me this day that, women are massively into gambling, and it doesn't matter the city they live in, as long as there is a way to gamble, they do.
If we want to find out how many women gamble in one city, we may need to study more in-depth and ask them for a questionnaire. And although the questionnaire will not reveal their identities because we want to know that the person we are interviewing is a woman, that is enough to provide data on the number of women who frequently gamble. But I don't know if more women gamble than men but if in the city they allow gambling, maybe the number could be much more than we think.

I think I agree that a lot of women will be gambling inside the house if the husband put them through so they don't have to come outside. Some can do the gambling away from the husband and he won't know about it like the man do gambling away from the family and not allowing the wife to know it. Online gambling has this as advantage, it give every gender the chance to gamble freely and the partner don't know about it.
Maybe a married person will not tell her husband that he often gambles. But this is a mistake because we know that playing gambling too often can cause addiction that we will not realize. Online gambling helps them hide their activities. Even when they go to sleep, they can play briefly for a few rounds. Maybe this has happened to several couples and until now no problems have arisen between them.
