Maybe, J.R. aka biolizard89 finds this very scary, our users not. This will be relevant at first anyway, once I released the new Namecoin apps. In the end, the entire user interfaces of the Namecoin wallets (Core and Electrum) are just a bundle of external apps, which are accessing the wallet via RPC commands, so they're only graphically integrated via the qt-framework. Same goes for the Bitcoin wallets btw. Wouldn't be a problem at all to provide a customized external name-management app anytime.
