It seems you are not comfortable with this topic because your reactions show that you are not pleased with the news. I am sorry for starting this discussion that seems to touch on the culture and tradition of your people.
But I was only trying to unveil the economic consequences of this law. Please accept my apology.

It is also very interesting to know that your culture promotes chastity which helps to discourage sex before marriage. My tribe also has respect for the same values. But my only reservation is why is it that these cultural practices are sometimes targeted at the women or female sex. Why would females be seen as outcastes because they had sex, while the men that had sex with them are seen as superheroes? As much as the men wants to marry virgins, the women also should enjoy the benefits of also marrying male virgins too. My culture also treats women as second-class humans due to some cultural practices and I am not in support of it.

Please, sir, I respect your tradition and have nothing against it but we are just sharing knowledge.

oh take it easy guys. I have no problem with this topic. maybe my discussion is a little out of topic. and I have to apologize.

you don't have to apologize. because you did nothing wrong.
and because this is a discussion forum. So differences of opinion are normal. when we have different opinions it doesn't even mean we are blaming each other. but only put forward from each other's point of view.

I even like it when someone talks about my country. and I only introduce it from my point of view as an Indonesian citizen.

and if talking on the topic as I said above in the first reply. that of course some sectors of the economy might be affected. But the impact will not be too big. so that it will not be a big problem for Indonesia.
