I wonder if this thinking is only for women? Women are disrespected if they have sex outside of marriage or premarital sex, so if men do such things, will they be humiliated by their families? I don't think it's fair if it's only for women.
Of course this also applies to men. it's just an example of the worst case that happened to a woman. because if it happened to a man it would be the same.
it's not about men or women. but about all those who have sex outside of marriage. what I said is just an example.
because even if a man is caught having sex out of wedlock with his partner. then it will end the same as I demonstrated above. his honor will fall. even the women might stay away from the man.

However, such cases occur if such things are already spread. usually this is spread because the couple who has sex outside of marriage has been caught by local residents. (in grebeg / look for the meaning in the Sundanese dictionary or Indonesian dictionary).
because actually a disgrace should not be spread. and of course we must protect the honor of our brothers. the case above only occurs if a couple of lovers have free sex outside of marriage and are caught by residents or many people (tergrebeg / confused what the English language is huh Cheesy).
and such cases are rare. and usually if it happens and is found out by residents, the couple must be responsible for their actions, namely by getting married. instead the man here will be held accountable for marrying the woman.

Sorry  OP. looks like I screwed up again by going off topic. So I won't be replying on this topic anymore. Grin
