Like I said above, some lottery companies I know now have a number picking  system that chooses the winning  numbers, this process has to be as fair as possible  to make the ground as leveled as possible for every player.

That's what most people want because it has to be transparent to make it look fair. If we don't know how to pick the winning numbers, then that becomes a question mark for the numbers. Compared to determining unilaterally, the system that is made for taking numbers, must really be trusted to determine the numbers that come out to be assigned to everyone.
Sure, you are correct, there is a local lottery company in my country that hosts a lottery game every week and the draw happens every Sunday night, they always air their number choosing process on TV during the draw.
They have a machine with balls inside, each of those balls has a number written/assigned on it from 0 to 100, while the machine is on, the blows heavy air which causes the balls inside to rotate/bounce/fly at a great speed that one can't even be able to see any of the numbers written on the ball..
The machine has a button which when pressed, a small space opens up and the machine throws out one ball, it throws out one ball at each press, and they usually press the button five times to get five different balls with different numbers.

This is how this company generates their lottery numbers, the lottery player have to have at least two of the five generated numbers to be a winner.
Having 2 numbers out of the 5 numbers generated is a win
Having 3 number out of the 5 numbers generated is a bigger win
Having 4 numbers out of the 5 numbers generated is even a bigger win.
Having all the 5 numbers generated, in your lottery ticket is the biggest win and qualifies you for the jackpot draw.
