Personally I find sports betting a bit complicated. You really need to warm up your brain and think of strategies, look at news articles, analyse the current situation around the fighter/player of your choice and so on. Its a bit like daytrading. You always have to be aware of the daily news, and have your own tactics in making the most profit from your investment (or in this case, the bet).
We must have a strategy based on personal analysis to determine the odds of the winning team, but sports betting is not too complicated for quarter-final match positions because popular teams have already qualified for the semi-finals, but when compared to slots, sports betting is easier to determine wins for certain team matches.
If you really have good knowledge with the sports that you are betting I will agree that it's easier to you picking which teams or player are in the upper-hand, though not always still since there's upset that also part of this gambling, even you do your hard research and you are very familiar with the team or player, chances to experience losses still possible.
Increasing your chance of winning depends on how serious you are in taking some extra research, looking for updates and watching
replays with the team or players that you will use as medium for your gambling.
