I still cannot digest Spain went home the way it did.
I actually gave my vote in this thread about seeing Spain the finals... So many teams I thought they would over-perform are gone now, among all the alleged scandals, etc. This world cup is being quite unpredictable.
I think it just becomes more and more hard to win a world cup in the years and decades to come because nowadays almost every country has pretty professional structures. So in a world cup and also especially in the european championship there are no more those really big underdogs that are losing every game with 0-15 or something like that. Teams like Morocco, Senegal and others of that category are now strong enough to beat every other national team in the world if they have a good day and some luck.
Spain did not show their best performance against Morocco and then they lost unlucky in the penalty shoot-out. Stuff like that can happen.
