I still cannot digest Spain went home the way it did.
I actually gave my vote in this thread about seeing Spain the finals... So many teams I thought they would over-perform are gone now, among all the alleged scandals, etc. This world cup is being quite unpredictable.
I too had thought Spain had a shot at reaching the World Cup finals if not to win the finals but I guess I thought wrong. This World Cup, like you rightly said is quite unpredictable as countries generally seen as underdogs are beating their opponents. Lots of teams I thought had a chance reaching the quarter finals have now been defeated and eliminated from the competition. I had voted for France on the thread but I honestly didnt expect Spain to be out at this stage. This World Cup is unpredictable and in my opinion, that makes it really exciting
There are always surprises in every competition, that's normal and now we look forward to the winner of the World Cup
