Tether, the company behind the USDT stablecoin, has expanded its move after including the Chinese Yuan stablecoin (CNH₮) on the TRON blockchain. This move will allow Chinese customers to send and receive payments in stablecoins at a lower cost compared to the Ethereum blockchain.

In Tuesday's announcement, Tether announced it would add CNH₮, a Chinese Yuan (CNH) stablecoin to the Tron blockchain.

Launched in 2019, CNH₮ was initially only available on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token. CNH₮ is one of four Tether stablecoins, including stablecoins against the US dollar (USD₮), euro (EUR₮), and peso (MXN₮).
