It was never intended for only by men when it comes into this physical gambling places in the first place.Its a free for all gender, it is really just that we do really not able to see women often into these places and thats why whenever we do see one then we do really have that common reaction.
But do you know that gambling can be addictive? And such behavior is not what the society expects from a home builder (woman). Because that means if a woman should gamble, who is to do to take care of the home, cook food and ensure the family is in good shape?? Because in as much as many clamor over gender equality, there are certain things that ought not to be gender equalized, and gambling is such, but that doesn't mean it's bad.

What does society expect from men? Aren't men supposed to be the breadwinner and not the one who spends his money at the casino without his wife knowing about it? Shouldn't a man spend his free time with his children, passing on his skills?
From my point of view, women as well as men are equal to each other and share common family responsibilities. The woman keeps the home comfortable and the man earns the money. Entertainment for each of them can be whatever they want.
