I could remember few months ago, when I had a little health challenge, while I was on my sick bed,the thought of gambling came into my mind and I remembered the fun that I do derive anytime am gambling, immediately I felt like gambling but i was not myself and couldn't do anything at that moment.

At this point, I think you went an extra mind, choosing gambling over your health, which I kind of see it as an addiction, because in as much as we love the fun of gambling, we should always try to give priority to our health.
Because without gambling, we can still live a healthy life, but without a healthy life, we literally can't do anything, more or less gamble. So for me, one thing I prioritize is my health

This is definitely true. If gambling is already affecting your health and finances, then it's time to choose what's more important over gambling. You need to value your health over anything else because the real purpose of gambling is to entertain us so abusing our health because of it is being too irresponsible. Health will always be our best wealth.

Which, most of the time, gamblers forget about it. As long as they can play, they will continue to play. Thier time is being eaten a lot by these activities/vice, but if you still have that control then better to work on it and try to lessen if you can't stop right away. Less time will also lessen the stress and pressure which mostly triggers the possible disease or any cause of health issue inside your body.
