I hope you are satisfied today. Kohli made a ton again (44th), it took a while but he got there.

He might not play the next T-20 WC but let's switch the format as ODI WC is coming and Look at his ODI numbers and amount of 100s he scored in this format.

He was able to get a ton because he had ample amount of time to work on his timing and understand the pitch. Furthermore the pressure of scoring was already absorbed by Ishan Kishan. Scoring a ton when team needs is was his forte which he forgot after 2019. If Liton Das had taken the simple catch of Kohli he would scored the same amount of runs which he has been scoring for sometime now. Another batter that has lost his form and has been struggling is KL Rahul. I am sure BCCI new selection team is carefully watching this series.

Ishan Kishan was no where seen as an ODI guy but today he proved everyone wrong. Now India has two openers that are fighting for a single position. The first one is Shubman Gill and after today's historic performance Ishan Kishan also joins the race.
