The story is quite strange in my opinion, if the people at the casino are surprised by the presence of this woman, then gambling at an offline casino is not a common thing there, but these women can be brave enough to come to play there, it definitely takes courage.
In my neighborhood, women usually gamble with other women. They gather in one place or house and start playing cards.

Maybe these gamblers are not used to find women gamblers in the casino, so whenever they see women entering, they give them special attention, and pay them with respect by letting them to bet first. Having a pretty and fair appearance is just a bonus. But in our country, women are already part in gambling casinos. Men bring their partners so they also let women decide for their bets.

I suppose many people cannot simply relate to the story of the OP as in many countries the fact that some women like to gamble is not only nothing new but it is incredibly common as well.

And I do not see why this should not be the case as now many women have their own jobs, earn their own money and they can decide to spend it in whatever they want, and if they want to spend their money in having some nice experiences at the casino I do not think there is anyone which should be surprised about it, since that is also a decision many of us take as well.

Yes you are right that mate there are many countries around the world that if there are woman gamblers they act like a normal it because some of their woman have enough money to gamble and that's reality because they have their own job or businesses. But some countries which is very rare that a woman gamble in their place then for sure what they do if they see a woman in casino and playing for sure they will shock and treat that woman very special.

I think in developed countries women have equal rights as men and hence they are allowed to gamble just like men. Also, they have equal earning opportunities so they have funds that they can spend on gambling and enjoying their leisure time.

In underdeveloped countries, women are considered as a minority and no one wants them to participate in things such as gambling. Secondly, most women remain at home, do not earn and hence they do not have money to gamble. If any woman still goes to casinos for gambling, she is not considered as a good woman and people raise concerns over her character.
