Im watching the Lakers vs 76ers game and man is this DeAnthony Melton kid lighting up the scoreboard. He is 8/11 from 3 point range on his way to 30 points. I dont think the Sixers wouldve won this game without him. A great performance for a relatively unknown player against multiple hall of famers. Hes going to be one happy guy when he gets home tonight. Im happy for him, but would have preferred a Lakers win as theyve been playing great lately.
I didn't get to watch that game, but I saw some highlights of that match and it was interesting.
Indeed Melton played well, but Harden (28) and Embiid (38) also had a great performance in that game.
I was imagining, if the Lakers could win that game, I believe that if LeBron James stood out, maybe LAL could have won this game.
By the way, AD had a relevant performance, and also collaborated with the team, Westbrook had an acceptable performance, with a triple double (which is one of his main characteristics)
It went into overtime, so the Lakers has the chance to win. Unfortunately, they have gassed out in the regulation, they have to climb back and again, forced an overtime. But it seems that was the last straw as they were able to score 2 points only in the overtime.
Austin Reaves for the Lakers did a good job in this game scoring 25 points. WB triple double, but Melton's 33 points was too much for the Lakers to contend.
