Winamp Windows music player supports web3 development by supporting NFT music assets.
To keep up with the times, this new version of Winamp offers more complete file format support. Some time ago, the Winamp development team released an update with the support of NFT music assets.

Winamp version 5.9.1 can now be used to play audio and video files of NFT assets using the ERC-721 and ERC-1155 standards. There are two blockchain ecosystems that support this, Ethereum and Polygon. As we know, there are many music NFT platforms built on the two blockchain ecosystems.

To use this feature, users can simply connect their MetaMask wallet account to Winamp via Brave, Chrome, or Firefox browsers. Once connected, users can directly play their respective NFT music collections in the app.
