This World Cup is particularly difficult to predict as the so called teams that have been considered weak and the underdogs have gone ahead to surprise their opponents. I was particularly wowed when top tier teams, Brazil and Portugal were eliminated out of the competition. This is football where literally anything could happen and weve been seeing it in this World Cup.

I don't think we have come to the end of surprises in this world cup because we still have two underdogs in the semifinals. Croatia and Morocco are still out to give football fans the biggest shock in the history of football. Morocco beating the almighty France and Croatia winning the powerful Argentine side would add to the surprises we have seen in this world cup. This world cup would become more interesting and strange if Morocco and Croatia plays at the finals, while France and Argentine scramble for bronze. At least one new country would be engraved on the world cup trophy.
you are right - but if we compare the quarterfinal of france and england - and morocco and portugal then definitely Morocco and portugal played real well.

France and England played quality and balanced football. Both teams came out to play they game and the ball possession of both teams were almost equal. But the Moroccans played defensive football against Portugal and the latter was in total command of the game till the end. But the difference was that Morocco was fortunate to utilize the few chances they had and were able to withstand the attacking pressure of Portugal.
