181 was not a good score on Wellington pitch, Bangladesh batting failed miserably only Nigar Sultana was able to score 73 runs. Other then that there is no contribution from anyother player. Suzie Bates was just not lucky enough to complete his century. In the end its an easy win for Newzealand. 2 more ODIs still to come and I am sure they will be also easy win for Newzealand women.
Agreed. The total was too low to defend. But in women's game the totals on average are much lower than that in the men's variety. A score of 230-240 is enough for a win, and 300 plus totals are very rare. There is no relaxation on the boundary length for women and therefore in women's game we normally witness less number of 4s and 6s when compared to men's matches. On top of that, conditions in New Zealand are more favorable to seam/swing bowling. All that said, 180 can never be a winning total. They should target a 200 plus total in the next match.
