I also understand Satoshi Nakamoto owns at least 1 million BTC that is assumed to be gone forever, and there are many other wallets with massive amounts of btc that have seen no movement whatsoever in 5+ years, leading to the possibility that those coins have been lost forever as well.
No one can confirm that Satoshi ever was (or is today) in possession of so many BTC, these are only guesses that came from the fact that he was the first to start mining, but it is completely logical considering that he invented Bitcoin. Furthermore, to assume that these coins (regardless of how many there are) are lost is not something that is supported by some evidence, and the proof that some BTC is lost cannot be a stupid assumption that they were lost because no one used them for 4 or 5 years.
Don't believe everything you read, especially in various crypto experts who sell myths and half-truths on various social networks. Regardless of the losses (which there certainly are), there is enough BTC for everyone, and I'm sure it will be like that in the future.
