I saw the line last night on the Warriors vs Pacers near the end of the 3rd quarter and the Warriors were down 6 or so. The odds were 8-1 so i bet .006 on the gamble. I ended up losing the bet but Warriors down less than 10 with a whole quarter to go was a bet worth taking.
I took an earlier bet when Curry was getting hot, I can see him making 10 triples in the whole game but when I saw him hold his shoulder after the incident I know I am going to lose my bet. It could've been different though if only Draymond didn't join the locker room due to ejection.
Do any of you take a long shot here and there like that?
I do take long shots like that. Like the Lakers versus Celtics 2 days ago, the line opened for +10.5 for the Lakers while they are down by 14 iirc.
Bets like this as sometimes profitable especially for teams that you knew could come back from such a high deficit.
i.e. Sacramento, Indiana
I don't think it's a trap, Memphis is on a 6 win streak already. So as respect, they are the slight favorite here.
I guess Bucks are a good pick as Giannis are slowing coming back to his normal.
Oh, so maybe it's a good thing to risk for the Bucks. I'll take the ML. Jrue is out, I will trust Middleton and Giannis to up their game.
