I wouldn't be sure there won't be many goals. Of course usually such serious games are played very carefully to avoid mistakes, but Argentina and France are two attacking teams. If a quick goal happens, one of the teams will have to take their chances. And the previous games have been played with an array of goals. France scored two, Argentina three.
Anything happens, remember the final of Germany and Brazil, there were a lot of goals. Both teams are attacking, so perhaps the teams will not be careful for long and will try to score an early goal. This will be a great advantage because the enemy in such a situation will have to open up. I think that both teams will score goals, and there will be total over.
This is indeed a possible thing to do, but looking at the games of France and Argentina in the semi-finals, they actually looked careful and always guarded the defense rather than focusing on the attack, which only relied on counterattacks, even though this actually went quite well for both of them.
But I think it will be very boring if that happens, it's a final and of course an amazing game they have to do.
