And the way you denied that you've previously opened an account on the very first exchange of communication with them is justifiedly worsen their suspicion toward you.
If you have never utilize their bonus features, then why'd you say that it is the reason you closed one of your acc? And about the claim of the long process of closing account, hence the date, can you please provide the emails when you firstly submit the accounts closure request (note that I wrote in plural)?
