I don't see manchester united as a candidate to win the europa league, given the bad form of manchester united i don't see them reaching the final and being champions, there are still great teams like arsenal, barcelona, juventus and so many others that have a better chance of winning the europe league, we'll see how manchester united will do against barcelona, they've been betting a lot on having good defense, but in these friendly games manchester united didn't do well in defense maybe it's because their main players were in the world cup, maybe be a good argument to justify these bad results. but I don't particularly see manchester united as a team that will reach the final of the europe league
They may not have a big advantage over Barcelona, but if they could get a win there then it would be easier to do all the other parts. I am not saying that they will have a win or anything, they will most probably lose to Barcelona that is for sure but if somehow football gods are with them that day and they get a win, then there is a possibility that they can beat other teams too.
Arsenal and Juventus seems like biggest opponents, and if they beat Barcelona, then there is no reason why they can't beat the others. Obviously this is all with the huge "if" they beat Barcelona which I think will not happen so all the other parts are just speculation.
