Any gambler at least once lost a large sum of money after which he had a desire to quit gambling. But these emotions will gradually subside and I think that in a month or two OP will go back to betting.
Losing allows us to gain experience, which makes us more responsible in the future. For example after one of my big losses I began to limit my bankroll and thanks to this I did not lose any more big sums.
Some of us small gamblers think we already lose tons of money but the truth is, that money was only small. We then said to ourselves that we won't gamble anymore but you are right because eventually, the urge will build up again. Maybe there are people who are truly committed and have quit a bad habit. I salute them for a having a strong will. What they did is not easy.
For those who come back, be sure to not repeat the same mistakes again and you will be just fine. Gambling isn't actually bad but we people are the ones that make it bad because it's natural for us to have a greedy nature and easily get hooked whenever there is a money involved.
