Parents have daily jobs, so are you saying that parents should stop working and monitor their kids instead?  Once the kids are above 14 years old, they are somehow capable to think and decide for themselves, so kids at this age gambling don't mean parents are not teaching them the right kinds of stuff.  Sometimes kids wanted to explore and often times it ends up on things that is unexpected for these kids to be engaged with like gambling.  I do agree that parents has the responsibility to guide their kids but they can't do anything after all their effort and the kids don't want to listen.  So the next thing to do is to report the gambling establishment for its illegal activity.  It is always good to remove the source of the problem.
I think the same, as the kid grows parents have less and less influence on their kids and their friends, acquaintances and even social media can hold more influence than the parents, so while parents need to do what they can in order to guide their children in the right direction, at the end of the day when they grow up those kids need to take decisions by themselves, and as we know they are going to make mistakes, so the only hope parents have is that the mistakes they make can be easily solved if given the right guidance.
I think we are making same point but in different ways, parent can not monitor their kids all through their life and there is a stage a child will get to that the perant will become more relax since the child can take care of themselves, and the responsibility of providing g for the family may make parenfs to busy to take a tap into the activities of they kids.

But parents must protect the future of their kids by limiting external negative influence on the child, so making unnoticed check up on their kids.
