Near Protocol roadmap has two major upgrades for future which are Core and Experience. The Experience bounds the user and developer experience and key features needed to enable those experiences to the fullest. On the other hand, the core section covers major efforts to improve the scalability and decentralization of the network.

With a potential surge in the market, NEAR could reach a maximum of $29.43 by 2023 and cross the $100 mark by 2029 (according to the Coinpedia Near Protocol Price Prediction for 2023).

It is too early to talk about the future of any altcoin at this point, I used to have high hopes for Near, but for now, I will step aside and observe rather than invest in it. Near as well as other altcoins are going through a terrible period and I doubt that it can recover, let alone the new ATH that Near will achieve. Near is back to the starting line, so instead of expecting it to hit $10 or $100 as far-fetched, we should expect it not to be the next dead project.

And not only that, as we enter a new phase again, maybe we will see new project emerging and replacing the old one including Near. WE have seen this cycle in 2017 boom, wherein there are a lot of projects that is pretty solid but they all failed in 2021 all time high, and some of them are dead in the tracks already.

So we should really observe and pay attention to Near maybe it will have the same fate as others before him, just saying.

It's a vicious and we have to face it and be attentive of this kind of cycles, just saying.

It is risky to invest in altcoins including top altcoins. Most of the top coins of 2017 have been replaced or disappeared to make room for new altcoins like near, Solana, and Avax...and I believe that next bull cycle these coins will also be replaced by other new names maybe Aptos, Sui, Sei...So I never agree with the advice that investing in topcoin during the down season can make us profitable in the next bull season. That's a common misconception, it's only true for bitcoin and possibly ethereum.
