Re: What do you think a relevant number of satoshi’s is or will be?

All of the talk about tipping has me wondering in the short term and long term how many satoshi’s will it take to buy some basic goods or services?

I remember my beginnings around 2014 and how I collected satoshi through various faucets and PTC sites and although it seemed pointless then and you couldn't buy almost anything for 100k satoshi, a few years later things changed completely. If we assume that in the next 5-10 years the price of BTC will be at least x10 higher than today (although some will say that it will be much more than that), I believe that you will be able to eat a decent meal for a few thousand satoshis.

I also have a few of the apps that pay satoshi’s for various things. I’ve earned about 10k Sats over a couple months with very little of my time. I wonder if those Sats will be worth my time a few years in the future.

There is nothing wrong with collecting some satoshi through any legitimate means, and I have a few passive sources of income that are not big, but maybe one day they will be worth a lot more than they are today. Of course, many will tell you that you are just wasting your time that way, because realistically, it might be better to simply invest $10 every month in BTC and spend your time on something else.
