All of the talk about tipping has me wondering in the short term and long term how many satoshis will it take to buy some basic goods or services?
I remember my beginnings around 2014 and how I collected satoshi through various faucets and PTC sites and although it seemed pointless then and you couldn't buy almost anything for 100k satoshi, a few years later things changed completely. If we assume that in the next 5-10 years the price of BTC will be at least x10 higher than today (although some will say that it will be much more than that), I believe that you will be able to eat a decent meal for a few thousand satoshis.
I also have a few of the apps that pay satoshis for various things. Ive earned about 10k Sats over a couple months with very little of my time. I wonder if those Sats will be worth my time a few years in the future.
There is nothing wrong with collecting some satoshi through any legitimate means, and I have a few passive sources of income that are not big, but maybe one day they will be worth a lot more than they are today. Of course, many will tell you that you are just wasting your time that way, because realistically, it might be better to simply invest $10 every month in BTC and spend your time on something else.
