lewandowski seems to have never played in the europa league before because he always played in the champions league with bayern munich and maybe this is the first time for him to explore the europa league competition with barcelona. There is no doubt about Lewandowski quality because he has been able to make a big contribution in every game he has played with Barcelona this season. So, for this season, the fans hope to see that Lewandowski is able to present a trophy for Barcelona.
He won Champions League with Bayern Munich, won Bundesliga with Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Now he is chasing for La Liga and Europa League with Barcelona. Champions League is bigger than Europa League but it is not bad to have Europa League in his list of achievement. Each cup has its own meaning and value.
Barcelona is good enough to be competitive in Europa League and Lewandowski can win it with them.
Lewandowski has been motivated to tries to add his trophy collection to his library, Uefa Europa league is one he doesn't have which I think is a big desire to create many goals to Barcelona. But, the age factor is one condition he must think if want to continue in europa competition because there is a opponent that has golden age player who can be as competitor. Barca also have the attacker who can replace him any time if can give a contribution like Dembele, Raphinha, Depay and Torres.
At his old age and with less competitive of Barcelona as parts of their crisis, it is unrealistic for Lewandowski to win Champions League with Barcelona. Europa League is a more realistic and reachable aim for him.
Winning one more cup in Europe and winning a golden boot in Europa League are not bad for Lewandowski before he ends his career.
@Google+ I doubt that he can help Barcelona win in Europa, because as we saw last time Barcelona players were demotivated to play in the Europa league. Furthermore Manchester United are a formidable opponent who know that they need to win the Europa league to secure champions league football hence I feel that theyll work on neutralising Lewandowski and thus I feel that he wont be able to help Barcelona much in the Europa league.
