Leaving sentiments asides, will you advise someone to still buy some Bitcoins (Not up to the value of 1) if they have an amount of money that will be okay to purchase the equivalent of 1 of a good altcoin with a strong community? Is having some bitcoins (in decimals) more valuable still than having the value of one good altcoin?
Altcoin is for short time pump and not a good considerable choice of investment for the long term, but Bitcoin in whatever quantity is suitable for long-term holding.
Bitcoin is the best option during crisissuch as this period were the price of coins is low due to one market impact or the other.
You are right that Investing in most alt coins is more applicable for short-term, because if we see some incidents recently, then I think investing in any alt-coin is not very secure for your fund whether it is short-term or long-term.
