Honestly I see no reason why both of you are feeling somehow offended that they used you getting a local board as an argument for them getting theirs, like that is somehow diminishing your success. If anything, I expected kinda "yes theymos, they deserve their local board too" kind of responses, and not this.
I never thought I would see members who just received new local board
(and we all supported that for some time) being against creating one more local board,
or nitpicking and finding flaws in OP request, but I have seen worse things in this forum so I am not really surprised.
There are some local boards that exist today and they have much less active members than guys from Pakistan, and they are less active.
