We need money for several stuff this festival period, yeah, but it is a simple advice I've got for the crypto community which you are part of, Don't sell your Bitcoin to buy stuffs that will perish few days or weeks after Christmas.

. Despite the current market situation, I do not think it would hurt if I spend some Satoshis. I do not care whether the item perishes in a few days or weeks after Christmas. It would make me happy. I have planned for it. However, I think the caveat here is to spend wisely and not on some foolish thing one may end up regretting.
