I understand - fundamentally - what you are saying. The reality is, that I do not engage in meatspace activism. I try to fight the fight by being a shitposter and troll on Twitter - I try to shine the light there for others to see what is going on.

I don't have the time for more than that. Building out the ranch for the last half of our life together leaves me with very little time to engage in politics. Not to mention my other hobbies and interests occupy a tremendous amount of my time.

I've also recently come to the realization that I'm no longer going to vote in Dallas County, because at the end of it all, it just ends up Blue anyway.
