Liverpool are the favorites to win that match, but of course the Reds shouldn't underestimate their opponent Aston Villa. The Unai Emery factor could make it difficult for Liverpool, the proof is that since taking over the coaching baton from Steven Gerrard, Emery has proven his ability to beat Manchester United.
But apart from that, Liverpool must win the full points. Because if you lose again, Liverpool's chances of advancing to the top flight will be tightly closed.
Liverpool is in a danger spot and they can't afford to lose a single point from now on, they have to not only win against Aston Villa, but it doesn't if it's Arsenal or City they play against, they have to win a lot of points for a long time. Only after they reach top 4 easily enough, and not within 3 points with 5th team they could maybe start losing points, that way they would at least guarantee UCL.
Right now, they are seriously not good enough to be in top 4 and go to UCL, and that is not acceptable for the last years finalist to be fair. Let's hope they work and do better, I can't say much about what is going to happen but I think it should be an easy win.
