No, I think the OP was smart enough that he tried to fool some greedy people into bankrolling him playing poker. But unfortunately the forum users and gamblers on this forum are way smarter than what the OP thinks so I don't think the idea will work this time around.
The OP's attempt makes no sense, of course, but it would make even less sense if someone managed to fund him playing poker. I'm not going to disapprove of the OP's idea, whatever the reason and how good his claims are about his skill at the game. He was in debt, it was proof that his ideas never worked long term.
