Bundesliga is so competitive this season. Union Berlin and Freiburg are the most surprising team so far. One wouldn't think they will go that far in the Bundesliga. It has always been Bayern, Dortmund, and Leipzig. The most shocking of all is Dortmund who seems to have flipped out from the top 4 zones. BVB needs to do something in other to change this current situation. It wouldn't be nice to see them miss out on the champion league race next season.
It looks like this season will provide new surprises for several clubs who are in their best form. There is no doubt that this season or next season clubs like Union Berlin and Sc Freiburg will continue to dominate the bundesliga. The UCL zone seems to have started to change and this now belongs to another club, we know Dortmund really dominated with Bayern Munich like the previous season, but it seems that Dortmund will have a little trouble this season to reaching the top 4 of the standings.
Yeah, the league settings have changed. underrated clubs like Freiburg and union Berlin who have not appeared in the Bundesliga top 5 positions, or Europe competition for years, are now a big problem for the likes of Leverkusen, Monchengladbach, and Borussia Dortmund. I'm happy for Bayern Munich and Rb Leipzig, they have proven themselves even as big names like Dortmund, Leverkusen, and Monchengladbach, seem to have faded away in strength. Indeed, Bayern Munich is undoubtedly the Giants of the German Bundesliga.
