It's likely the bear market will end after next bitcoin halving. By there we have to remain patient, without despairing ourselves and losing hope in bitcoin, what can be hard for some investors, since we don't know if we have reached the bottom yet. In my opinion 2023 can be a stable or a bad year for bitcoin, but not a prosperous one. So hard times may still be ahead for crypto enthusiasts.
Anyway, the short term isn't to be trusted. Even if we were in a bull run, we could never make decisions based on what is going to happen soon. The goals in crypto universe must be drawn always thinking on long term, that is: period of time in years, and taking bitcoin's cycles in consideration.
means we need to wait for another couple of years before it finally ended because Halving will come in 2024-2025 in which several years from now but I can fully understand the sentiment because we have seen that happened for how many times before.
Bitcoin and other crypto are only making pump after 4-5 years.
I think halving in 2024 and the following year 2025 could be too late for some people to wait. I mean in 2017 we had a big up but that was in December, then we had a terrible fall in all of 2018 which was bad, but in 2019 we started to recover, that means we need to recover in 2023 to be the same. Sure we had a big up in 2021, and a terrible fall in 2022, but we need a bit of recover.
I am not saying the highest point, that took us until 2021 to peak a new ATH, meaning from 2017 to 2021 that was 4 years and I understand the logic of that, and we should wait, but just because ATH was broken in 2021 doesn't mean 2019 was bad, it was a good year and 2023 could be too.
