"Is the bear market over? Hard to say, but a lot of the bad news was priced in. With a maximum drawdown of -28%, SPX discounted 85% of a typical 33% market decline and 78% of a recession bear market. I still like the 1946 counterpart-"
I think the bear market is not over, and it will continue. Even the crypto price will drop up to 30% from the current price. It's possible that for the foreseeable future, there will be a pump of crypto, and people will jump on the exchanges and rush to buy. People assume that 2023 is the year of the bull. I think it's not the right time, maybe september 2023 the start of the bull market. I think april 2024 bull market not april 2023.
It's hard to assess because of many factors that affecting this industry, plus the economic issue all over the world, investors are afraid to release their money into something that they don't any control, bear will continue to gain dominance while the market still experiencing tough challenges, unless we see good news that might help to regain the interest from more investors.
Bull still unpredictable, as there are still cases that bring the market down, which I also doubt it will be replaced in the next few months.
I don't think we can really go more down than we are already, the bear market is still very active as no good news are on the horizon for cryptocurrencies but only bad ones with the FTX bankruptcy being the latest drama after some other exchanges going bankrupt before it and many others doing several shady things to say the least, like asking source of funds or if not provided locking your funds which was not common before to many users of registered to them.
Unless this is all left behind and good news start arising in the market I am afraid that this bear market will continue for some time to come but I am also confident that we are at the bottom now and don't see any more prices for many alt coins going down.
